The Tag Economy: tagging your way to success
What's the Tag Economy? In short, it's connecting and sharing: the constant act of tagging and being tagged, getting and giving the chance to get involved with and add value to an opportunity. We'll show you how to maximize those opportunities.
In our transformed "Tagged'' world, where nearly anyone can be reached via social media, smart phones, content marketing and other digital platforms, the opportunities for tagging and being tagged have exploded. We explore those opportunites in an upcoming book called The Tag Economy, co-authored by Nicole Meloche and Joseph Serwach.
Like most ideas, the Tag Economy is both old and new: In the game of Tag, when "You're It,'' you become the center of attention -- all eyes look at you when you are tagged. The 21st century version of tagging: when a photo, status update, posting, tweet, article or similiar message are tagged online, the idea instantly spreads to the person "tagged" and everyone who follows or cares about them can instantly see this on their news feeds. In both cases, being tagged is an opportunity to contribute to others and learn from them as well. Combining Relationship Marketing, Social Media and Content Marketing, we'll show you how Tag Economy leaders are:
- Profiting and growing from new relationships.
- Reigniting Innovation and Creativity to fuel economic growth.
- Building Bridges to new kinds of communities tying them to friends and colleages who can help achieve their goals.
- Tearing down the walls that have blocked growth.
